The CRS418-8P-8G-2S+RM is a next-generation high-performance smart switch designed for Small to Medium Business (SMB) networks, enterprise edge, and converged network deployments where switching, routing, and PoE power must coexist in a single platform. Built with a quad-core 2.2 GHz ARM CPU, it delivers substantially higher performance—up to ~3× faster than CRS320 and CRS328 models—making it powerful enough to replace many small and medium office routers.
The switch provides 16 Gigabit Ethernet ports, including eight PoE-out ports, plus an additional dedicated Gigabit management port, and two 10G SFP+ uplinks for high-speed fiber aggregation. This balanced port layout makes it ideal for powering edge devices while maintaining fast, scalable uplinks to the network core.
Powered by RouterOS v7, the CRS418-8P-8G-2S+RM supports advanced Layer 2 and Layer 3 features including VLANs, routing, firewalling, ACLs, and traffic management.
