Description: **DISCONTINUED** The CT-HDVD-HDCX-IR has been designed to convert HDMI signals for transmission over 75 Ohm RF coaxial cable such as RG-6, RG-7 or RG-11. The transmitter uses a 64QAM mode to achieve long distance transmission with minimal signal degradation. A source can easily be set up for a single one to one link, one to many link or many to many link using standard 1 GHz RF splitters. Using a single low cost coaxial cable, users can readily extend HDTV sources from DVD players, PS3, computers and many other sources to distant display monitors including HD enabled TV sets or LCD PC monitors. With the advantage of excellent image quality and strong resistance to interference this model is idea for CCTV, digital signage, media education or any other application that requires an HDMI source to be located a long distance from the viewing panel or panels. There are 100 channels (0 - 99), selected with 2 buttons. Connection between a transmit device and a receive device is only possible when both devices are set to the same channel. The IR remote is used solely to change the receive channel of the receive device at the TV. This channel selection is for the receivers only, and is not passed across the coax to the transmitter(s).
