The VidCasterIP Control Box receives routing commands from a user interface, such as an iPad or PC on the network, then communicates which signal each decoder should display. This solution allows the operator the advantage of creating display groups to allow multiple endpoints to receive instantaneous content changes via one operator command. For example, placing one of several sources (a set top box with the big game on) to all, or only to specific TVs, while placing other programming to other TVs.
