The DataTronix DT-QAM-ENC-2-MPG2 is a professional 2-channel HD encoder modulator designed to distribute HDMI video sources over existing coaxial cable networks. Ideal for smaller-scale installations, this unit accepts up to two HDMI sources, such as satellite receivers, cable boxes, or Blu-ray players, and converts them into digital QAM programming for distribution to multiple compatible televisions.
Supporting MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 AVC (H.264) encoding, the DT-QAM-ENC-2-MPG2 offers flexibility for a variety of television systems. Compatible TVs can tune directly to the distributed programming without additional set-top boxes at each display.
Independent channel mapping allows installers to customize programming lineups to suit each application. A web-based interface simplifies configuration and management, while the compact 1RU rack-mountable design fits neatly into professional headend systems. Designed for continuous operation, this encoder modulator is well suited for hotels, hospitals, senior living facilities, schools, and commercial AV installations.
