Description: HDMI Signal Extender Over Coaxial Cable Kit
The CT-HDVD-HDCX-IR-V2 has been designed to convert HDMI signals up to 1080p for transmission over a single 75-ohm RF coaxial cable such as RG6, RG59, or RG11. The transmitter uses a (64)QAM mode to achieve long-distance transmission with minimal signal degradation, and a source can easily be set up for one-to-one transmit and display. By adding a (1,000)MHz rated coaxial RF splitter and an additional receive-only unit (CT-HDVD-HDCXIR-RX-V2), customers can also distribute the transmitted signal to multiple compatible display points. Using a single low-cost coaxial cable, users can readily extend HDTV sources from DVD players, gaming consoles, computers, and many other sources to distant display monitors, including high definition enabled television sets or LCD PC monitors. With the advantage of excellent image quality and strong resistance to interference, this model is ideal for video surveillance, digital signage, educational videos, or any other application that requires an HDMI source to be located a long distance from the viewing panel or panels. This unit includes an infrared remote control. The infrared function within this product is exclusive to the IR remote and is used solely to change the receive channel of the receiver device at the TV.
