The COM3000, also known as the Vantiva COM3000, is the most advanced DIRECTV COM3000 headend for commercial TV systems. Ideal for Retirement Homes, Assisted living, Hotels, Hospitals, and Institutions, this system offers unmatched flexibility and power efficiency.
The COM3000 system is designed to maximize space efficiency. It fits up to 138 HD DIRECTV channels within just 3 rack units (3RU), freeing up valuable room in your server closet or headend rack.
The COM3000, including all the receiver blades and EdgeQAM, can be managed and monitored remotely over the internet or local network using a simple web-browser-based management interface.
Available as a plug-in module, the QAM4 and available SWQAM2 licenses reduce overall system cost and simplify the installation and maintenance for the COM3000. The two QAM4 slots in the COM400 chassis support up to 96 channels of QAM output. Interactive Program Guide & PSIP Data. When used with a set-top box, the COM3000 can generate a guide including external channels at no additional monthly room charge to the property. The COM3000 can also deliver PSIP data in an “On Now/ On Next” format for TV banners to display program data for content being played. Channel names and custom channel numbers can also be set and displayed through this PSIP data.
For High-Definition solutions that require encryption, the COM51 HD receiver blades include options for Pro:Idiom™ and Pro:Idiom™ Mobile encryption of the HD content, which can be played back on any Pro:Idiom™ or Pro:Idiom™ Mobile device.
The DIRECTV COM3000 system delivers unmatched reliability and centralized content control for commercial TV solutions. It's fully compatible with Pro:Idiom™ TVs and requires no in-room receivers.
The COM3000 IPTV system includes modular hardware components that simplify maintenance, increase reliability, and support both RF and IP output.
The COM51D-DTV, the latest in DIRECTV’s commercial receiver lineup, tunes 23 HD channels and supports 4K content, outputting over IP with Zenith Pro:Idiom protection. It streams channels to both IP and QAM without duplication. Pro:Idiom licensing and NACE NTSG approval are required before shipment.
