The ATSC4 supports up to 32 independent SPTS IP output streams (sub-channels), delivering premium access to the major networks (i.e., ABC, CBS, NBC & FOX) and up to 7 sub-channels provided by local broadcasters. RF input, Multicast, or Unicast output allows for easy signal distribution, either through traditional RF-based TV setups or IP-based installations.

The ATSC4 can operate independently of other sources or can be set up and managed by the COM51 interface, with the ability to combine content from this device with content from other COM sources, if desired.

This unit is NOT compatible with ATSC 3.0 transmissions.

Description: The COM400 chassis is the foundation for the Vantiva COM3000 system, providing the housing, power supply, (10)GbE backplane, managed switch, and cooling system required for the DIRECTV receiver blades and QAM modulator modules. The COM400 chassis is (5.25) inches in height (3RU), and has slots to facilitate up to (6) COM51 insert blades, and up to (2) QAM4 inserts, which can support up to (96) channels of QAM output. Both COM50/COM51 and QAM4 units are assigned default IP addresses per location in the chassis and chassis number. The COM400 houses a 10 GbE backplane Ethernet, which is configurable for multicast filtering and IGMPv2 snooping.

Description: As the newest in a family of DIRECTV receivers specifically designed for the commercial market, COM51D-DTV adds a new level of density capable of tuning 23 high-definition channels as well as capable of tuning DIRECTV 4K content and outputting this content over IP with Zenith Pro: Idiom content protection for high definition and 4K broadcasts. The COM51D-DTV satellite tuner blade can simultaneously send its channel streams to an IP network and QAM without the need for duplicating channels. MPEG-2, H.264 (AVC), or H.265 (HEVC), and Dolby Digital Audio (AC3), AAC, and MP3 support (PCM) enable the flexibility to receive a wide range of content from various audio and video formats. (HDCP protected content not supported).

Description: The Vantiva QAM4 is designed specifically for the COM3000, a digital headend solution that supports commercial environment DIRECTV satellite services. The QAM4 fits into the COM400 and/or COM421 chassis, sold separately. The QAM4 is capable of (48) QAM channel outputs incrementally licensed from (4) (product default) to (48) QAM channels in groups of (2) channels per SWQAM-2 software upgrade, sold separately. This allows the customer to maximize the efficiency of the needed QAM for any specific application and assists in keeping installation costs in check. External content sources such as outboard transcoders and video encoders can be streamed to the QAM20 or QAM4 modulator.
